ROCKLAND FEDERAL CREDIT UNION HIRES A NEW PRESIDENT & CEO
The Board of Directors of the Rockland Federal Credit Union, based in Rockland, Massachusetts is extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Kristin P. While at USALLIANCE, Mr. VanBeek spearheaded the launch of Dora Financial, the first neo-credit union, a bi-lingual alternative banking solution that serves the underbanked and unbanked populations. Prior to joining USALLIANCE in 2011, Mr. VanBeek was the Senior Vice President of Information Systems and Risk Management at the Digital Federal Credit Union and has held positions with FDIC, Fiserv Boston, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The Chairman of the Rockland Board, Stephen T. Gorman states: “Having just celebrated our 100th anniversary, the Rockland Federal Credit Union is very fortunate to have found an innovative, transformative individual like Kris VanBeek to lead the organization into our second century. Under Tom White’s leadership we have achieved extraordinary success in the last three decades making us one of the leading financial institutions in Massachusetts. Throughout the years Tom built our organization by providing a broad range of financial services to our communities; maintaining the highest levels of safety and soundness; and, continuously putting the needs of our members and staff above all else. Under our new leadership, we are confident that Kris VanBeek will continue this legacy of service; that he will further enhance our position in the industry; and, ultimately lead our organization to an even bigger and brighter future.”
